Nergalle, Lorekeeper of the Fallen is a unique orc necromancer. Although capable of inflicting negative energy damage and draining you, her biggest threat lies in the spectral orcs she constantly summons and hastes.

If you are a worshiper of Beogh, Nergalle may turn neutral and head for the nearest stairs, leaving her equipment behind.

Tips & Tricks

• Three spectral orc knights can be quite dangerous, especially when hasted, so try to kill Nergalle quickly.
• If you have a ring of positive energy, swapping to it will make Nergalle's bolt of draining much less of a threat.

History

• Prior to 0.32, Nergalle had Summon Spectral Orcs instead of Vanquished Vanguard.
• Prior to 0.19, Nergalle could cast Death's Door, rendering her incapable of dying for several turns.
• Prior to 0.13, Nergalle could not appear in the Lair.
• Prior to 0.8, she could not summon spectral orcs and simply pelted you with spells.
