Vertigo

Vertigo is a temporary status effect that decreases your evasion (-5 EV), spellcasting success, and accuracy (-5 to-hit<ref>Template:Source ref</ref>) until it wears off.

Vertigo can be caused when casting Alistair's Intoxication, as a result of being hit by a plum Killer Klown pie, or by drinking a potion of moonshine.

A potion of cancellation will remove the vertigo status (as well as many other status effects). Potions of curing have no effect.

History

• In 0.33, potions of moonshine were added as a new source of Vertigo.
• Prior to 0.25, miscasting a Hexes spell could cause 10-20 turns of vertigo.
