Template:Item Scrolls of paper are blank scrolls, despite having something visibly written on them prior to identification. Reading them has no effect other than wasting a turn. They cannot be used to train the Spellcasting skill.
History
They were removed from the game in 0.8. The scroll of old paper was added to replace them in saves to ensure compatibility, but should not appear normally.
