Athame are ritual knives that deal additional damage against debuffed enemies. Wielding an athame removes 10% of your current HP unless that would kill you.
Useful Info
An athame deals +2 base damage against enemies with one debuff and +4 damage against enemies with at least two debuffs. Debuffs check the same list as Trickster, which means poison and constriction don't count.
Athame cannot naturally spawn with the venom brand.
