Profane servitors are corrupted former angels of the Shining One who have fallen under the dark influence of Yredelemnul. Profane servitors are fast, resistant to most damage types, including holy damage, and have vampiric/draining attacks on top of whatever brand their demon whip has. Their umbra lowers your accuracy. Profane servitors are rare, occasionally encountered while wandering the Abyss or lower floors of the Crypt, but are more common in Tartarus.

Tips & Tricks

• Worshippers of Yredelemnul are immune to the umbra's penalties. This includes monsters that worship Yredelemnul. Any halo effects will cancel out the umbra.
• Although profane servitors are immune to holy damage, they are still vulnerable to dispel undead and deathbane.
• Keep in mind that they aren't resistant to fire and acid damage.

History

• Prior to 0.14, profane servitors were vulnerable to weapons of holy wrath (but not "pure" holy damage, such as that of Cleansing Flame and Holy Breath).
• Profane servitors were added in 0.10.
