Stasis

Template:Version033 The stasis intrinsic, exclusive to Formicids, provides immunity from a wide variety of time and space altering effects:

• Teleportation
  • including Vhi's Electric Charge
  • excluding level shifts in the Abyss
• Blinking
• Haste, Slow, and Swiftness
• Paralysis
• Berserk

Stasis will not block any of the following:

• Effects that warp space around you: Passage of Golubria, Abyss shifts
• Certain god effects: Hepliaklqana's Transference, Dithmenos' Shadowslip, Uskayaw's Grand Finale, Okawaru's Finesse
• Transporters (not to be confused with teleport traps)
• Banishment
• Other disabling effects like Petrify, Sleep, or Vex

History

• Prior to 0.25, stasis did not block Swiftness.
• In 0.18, the amulet of stasis was removed, the primary and only way for most characters to get this intrinsic.
• Prior to 0.18, stasis blocked Okawaru's Finesse.
