==Tips & Tricks==
*Unlike most spiders, broodmothers are not weak to poison, though not resistant, either. Spells like [[Olgreb's Toxic Radiance]] can wear down the summons and the mother, but the broodmother's large HP pool makes taking them on directly with [[Alchemy]] less than ideal.
*Using piercing attacks such as [[javelin]]s is a good way to hurt them directly through their wall of summons.
*Using a [[scroll of immolation]] is a good way to destroy the broodmother's summons (and usually the broodmother herself as well), but be aware that most of the spiders are fast enough to be in your face after a couple turns, even from the edge of your LOS.
*Broodmothers have next to no resistances. With only 2 AC and 4 EV, nearly every attack you make against them will land for maximum damage. They also don't resist any elements and have somewhat measly willpower (60) for a "boss" monster.
*Broodmothers cannot [[see invisible]], nor can any of her summons.
