When an enchanted creature is slain, a [[simulacrum (monster)|simulacrum]] matching them will be created nearby. This spell also prevents your own undead-creating [[Necromancy]] (except [[Death Channel]]) from working.<br /> <br /> {{monsters with spell}}<br /> <br /> Additionally, the following monsters cast Bind Souls automatically when slain:<br /> <br /> *{{monsterlink|Pharaoh ant}}<br /> <br /> Followers of [[Gozag]] effectively neuter this spell; corpses turn into gold before they can turn into simulacrum.<br /> <br /> ==History==<br /> *Prior to [[0.33]], hostile sumulacra created via this spell gave XP.<br /> *Prior to [[0.30]], [[Gozag]] didn&#039;t block hostile soul binding.<br /> *Prior to [[0.27]], a simulacrum would only appear if an enchanted monster would drop a [[corpse]].
