Useful Info

Spellspark servitors are obedient magical constructs created by the spell, Spellspark Servitor. These beings come into existence able to cast destructive spells known by its summoner. For players, the servitor will have a single spell. For monsters, the servitor can cast any valid spell in the monster's spell set. Refer to the spell's article for details on which spells are valid.

Details

When cast by the spell, servitors have 60 + 7d5 (67 - 95) HP, instead of the amount listed in the infobox.

Servitors cast slowly. Player-summoned servitors have a ~75% chance to cast a spell every 1.8 decaAut. For monster servitors, it has a ~33% chance to cast a spell every 1.8 decaAut (chosen randomly; favoring higher level spells).<ref>Template:Source ref</ref>

Tips & Tricks

  • Spellspark servitors can wield awesome destructive powers when conjured up by a powerful combat mage. However, even the worst mages will likely be able to cast Stone Arrow, which deals more damage in a servitor's hands than the player's.
  • Although they don't have much in the way of HP or defenses, spellspark servitors are extremely resistant to most elements, making them capable of standing their ground against very powerful late-game foes.

History

  • Prior to 0.33, this monster (and the spell) was called a spellforged servitor.
  • Spellforged servitors were added in 0.14.
